NanoString Technologies seeks a detail-oriented Project Manager responsible for managing the development of new products and applications for the nCounter Analysis System according to our product development life cycle. Responsibilities may include small to mid-sized projects involving instrumentation, assay, software and consumables. This mid-level Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional team members in gathering project requirements, putting together timelines, and tracking progress toward milestones according to corporate objectives. A primary responsibility will be working with other project managers to review and maintain project design documentation and deliverables associated with the product development process. Other duties may include educating cross-functional team members in our product development process and quality systems.
Requirements:
BS degree
Minimum of 2 years working as a Project Manager in the life science or medical device industries
Proficient in MS Office products including MS Project
Prepare meeting agendas and generate and circulate meeting minutes
Proven ability to effectively communicate and present information to development teams and management
Capacity to integrate contributions directly from internal team members as well as external collaborators and stakeholders
Comfort performing in a fast-paced high-tech environment
Additional Qualifications Include:
Knowledge in the development of product Design History File (DHF)
Familiarity working with SharePoint
Experience working closely with quality assurance and document control
Familiarity with ISO-13485 and/or 21 CFR 820 a plus
